What’s on Your Wall?Most if not all of you are successful professionals in the Green Industry and also do what you can for the community you live in. Look around your office. You might have a plaque on the wall from a Little League team you helped to sponsor or a signed basketball from a team you coached long ago. But how many of you have something that rewards your professional accomplishments? Now don’t get me wrong, receiving community recognition is very rewarding. But, how many of your clients look at your volunteer hours or philanthropic efforts? You know better than I do that they want to know how you stack up with the rest in the industry. So I can’t stress to you enough how important it is for you to enter your business in the Nevada Landscape Association Trophy Awards. Several different magazines regularly feature NLA entries and winners throughout the year. As a member of the NLA, this is your opportunity to get some bragging rights, beef-up your “About” section on your website, send out a press release or two, and basically show everyone that you have been recognized for outstanding workmanship. That’s what your competitor is doing! We have sent the entry forms and instructions to you already. Entering is an easy process and we’ll even walk you through the whole process if need be. The judging dates are August 24th through September 11, 2009. We must have your entry postmarked by August 7th. Let’s get a Landscape Trophy Award up on your wall for a change.
